About Us

Single Super Phosphate is a highly demanded chemical fertiliser with phosphorus as its main constituent. It is a rich source of many micro nutrients like Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Aluminium, Sulphur and Gypsum. It is the only phosphatic fertiliser which can utilise Indian rock phosphate deposits. The powder form of SSP is known as PSSP. The free phosphoric acid present in the SSP  is extremely beneficial for alkaline soils.

Single Super Phosphate (SSP) was the first commercial mineral fertiliser and it brought the growth and development of the contemporary plant nutrient industry. Single Super Phosphate was one the widely used fertiliser; However Single Super Phosphate (SSP) was substituted by other Phosphorus fertilisers because of its comparatively low Phosphorus content.

Single Super Phosphate (SSP) is an excellent way to obtain plant nutrients. The Phosphate component reacts in soil in a similar way to other soluble fertilisers.

The presence of both Phosphate and sulfur in Single Super Phosphate (SSP) can be an agronomic advantage where both of these nutrients are deficient. In agronomic trials where Single Super Phosphate (SSP) is exhibited to be finer quality than other Phosphate fertilisers

Advantages of PSSP:

It increases oil content of groundnut and other oil seeds, helps in improving the quality of cane juice and sugar recovery in canes and increases resistance power of plants against attack of pest and diseases. It also helps to treat sulphur deficient soils and enhance yields.
